New York State & a Lot of Partying

New York State and a Lot of Partying

Seaway Island Resort was our first stopover on our way to Poughkeepsie. It is located on an island on the American side of the St. Lawrence River.

Frosty Acres was our second stop. It rest high above Schenectady. By the way, Jimmy Carter was once stationed here on Naval duty.

We had to spend Labor Day weekend in the Newburgh KOA. We weren't there much. It was party weekend in honor of the Bat Mitzpah girl!

Molly and Paul, the proud grandparents, invited us all to brunch at the Mohonk Resort. It was a beautiful day for having brunch outside under the trees. Some even noticed the bikini clad swimmers in the lake below!

After Labor Day we were able to move over to Roundout Valley Resort..Before leaving the area we met Howard and Shirl along the river in Newburgh.
The Hudson Valley needs more exploring. It has a lot of history and wonderful scenery.
