Renewing Friendships
August, 2006
We spent August catching up to acquaintances that we have met while traveling.

Final Seconds of a Lake Huron Sunset
The Fosters camped beside us in North Bay, Ontario six or seven years ago. We have met two times since then. Now it was time to meet once more. This time we parked our trailers in Goderich, Ontario overlooking Lake Huron. We shared meals and campfires. The highlight was the homemade lasagna, made by Melodie, complete with bruschetta!

Clay Cuts the Lasagne
The Wilsons happen to live in Goderich so we visited with them as well. Carol and Bill crossed our path in Abita Springs, Louisiana. They have been back to Louisiana to work with Habitat for Humanity.
The Garlochs were in Williamsburg, Virginia when we first met them. It was one of those campgrounds where “a train runs through it” rather than a river! Last year our paths met again in Westwego, Louisiana. In June of this year, I visited Harry and Georgiana at their home in Indianapolis.
In August we met for a few days of discovery in Sandusky, Ohio. We enjoyed the delights of the Lake Erie Islands.
